Day 21 - Adi Shakti - 40 Days Chanting for healing and transformation

Om Shanti,

Today we are staring a next passage of our journey together, I am calling it an “Empowerment Path”

During our 40 days we are focusing on healing and transformation and it will remain as our inner compass, empowerment however may allow us to be brave, to set healthy boundaries and stay firmly in our inner power. I feel that collectively we are asked to follow our inner wisdom, both a body wisdom which may send us some very clear signals and a heart / spirit wisdom which communicates via our emotions and insights. There is no stronger time that now to establish firm and loving inner authority, especially when the outside ones are doubtful or confusing. There is so much information out there, yet we have access to all the wisdom in a split of a second if needed. What often stays in the way of that inner trust is our mind which has been conditioned to see things based on our previous experiences, holding us in a loop of the same behaviours and fears. What if we make that firm decision to switch off from the inner chatter of the mind into the silence and then to listening to our body and our heart?

During our next 10 days I am choosing the mantras and chants to help us in this inner process of empowerment. Today we are starting with a mantra “Adi Shakti”, a beautiful mantra to evoke the Divine Feminine and the Divine Mother, available to both, the male and the female. From the perspective of the female body it evokes all the stages of woman's growth from a Maiden, to Mother and a Crown, a journey from Innocence to Maturity and Wisdom! How empowering is that! It also tunes into the primal protective, generating energy. It is said that chanting it eliminates fears and fulfills desires. So, let our imagination create the most beautiful desire of love and peace on this Earth!

Lyrics of the mantra:

Adi Shakti, Adi Shakti, Adi Shakti, Namo Namo

Sarab Shakti, Sarab Shakti, Sarab Shakti, Namo Namo

Pritham Bhagvati, Pritham Bhagvati, Pritham Bhagvati, Namo Namo

Kundalini Mata Shakti, Mata Shakti, Namo Namo

Meaning of the mantra:

I bow to (or call on) the primal power.

I bow to (or call on) the all encompassing power and energy.

I bow to (or call on) that through which God creates.

I bow to (or call on) the creative power of the Kundalini, the Divine Mother Power.

Happy, empowering chanting!

Om Shanti,

Magdalena
